Steam Chemical Indicator Strip Comply 240 Strips is a non-prescription pet health product for pets.
The 3M Comply 1250 Type 4 Chemical Indicator Strip for Steam Sterilization is a paper strip measuring 1.5 cm wide and 20 cm long (0.625 in wide and 8 in long), printed with a chemical indicator ink that changes from off-white to black when exposed to the steam sterilization process.
The Type 4 chemical indicator is designed to monitor all gravity and vacuum-assisted steam sterilization cycles from 121 °C to 134 °C (250 °F to 273 °F), and to indicate whether steam has penetrated to the point where the strip is placed, typically at the center of a pack.
Each strip is perforated in the center to allow shortening if a smaller internal chemical indicator is preferred.
