Perlinette Fir Wood Litter 10 kg Bag is a non-prescription home care supplies product for pets.

Perlinette Fir Wood is a natural clumping litter made from the bark of fir wood.

The trunk of these trees is sent to the sawmill to be used as lumber, the small branches are used to operate the boilers and the bark is ground on the spot and then mixed with potato starch to make it agglomerate.

It is then compressed under high pressure into "pellets" to extract the humidity, then it is dried slowly in a tunnel under a flow of hot air produced by a boiler which operates by combustion of scrap wood.

At the end of the operations, the objective is to obtain a product with a residual humidity of around 10-12% and almost no tannin or resin.
