BIPS® are radiopaque contrast agents used in veterinary radiography to evaluate gastrointestinal transit, detect obstructions, and assess motility disorders in dogs and cats.
Composed of solid, non‑dissolving polyethylene spheres impregnated with barium sulfate, BIPS provide clear and consistent X‑ray visibility.
Unlike liquid barium, they can be administered orally or mixed with food, making administration easier and reducing animal stress.
