Directions

Adults and Children 12 yrs and over: Use tablespoon (tbsp) or dose cup. 2 tbsp (30mL) at bedtime. If your cold keeps you confined to bed or at home you can take every 6 hours. Do not exceed 4 doses in 24 hours. Children under 12 years, do not use

Warnings and precautions

Liver warning: This product contains acetaminophen. Maximum daily dose is 4 doses (2600 mg) in 24 hours. Severe or possibly fatal liver damage may occur if you take: more than the recommended dose in 24 hours, with other drugs containing acetaminophen, while drinking 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day. Symptoms of liver damage may include: yellowing of the skin or eyes, dark urine, sweating, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, unusual tiredness, loss of appetite. Allergy alert: acetaminophen may cause serious skin reactions. Symptoms may include: skin reddening, blisters, rash. If any of the above noted symptoms occur, stop use and seek medical help right away. DO NOT USE: with other drugs containing acetaminophen (if you are not sure whether a drug contains acetaminophen, ask a doctor or Pharmacist), if you are allergic to acetaminophen or any other ingredient in this product, with a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (drugs for depression or Parkinson's disease) or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. Ask a doctor before use if you have: liver or kidney disease, asthma, glaucoma, chronic lung disease or shortness of breath, excessive phlegm (mucus), persistent or chronic cough, difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are: taking Warfarin-containing blood thinning drugs, taking sedatives or tranquilizers, pregnant or breastfeeding. When using this product: drowsiness may occur, do not drive or engage in activities requiring alertness, avoid alcoholic drinks, excitability may occur, especially in children. Stop use and ask a doctor if: symptoms last for more than 5 days, worsen or are accompanied by fever (>38°C), fever lasts for more than 3 days, symptoms are accompanied by the production of thick yellow/green phlegm. If elderly, consult a doctor before using this product. In case of overdose: get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. Quick medical attention is critical even if you do not notice any signs or symptoms. USE ONLY AS DIRECTED BY A PHYSICIAN. KEEP THIS AND ALL DRUGS OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. THIS PACKAGE CONTAINS ENOUGH MEDICINE TO SERIOUSLY HARM A CHILD. Store at roomtemperature and do not refrigerate.
