Bubblegum-flavoured oral allergy liquid for children. Each 5 mL contains diphenhydramine hydrochloride 6.25 mg.

Uses

Temporarily relieves allergy symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy or watery eyes, hives and related allergic reactions.

Active ingredient

Diphenhydramine hydrochloride, 6.25 mg per 5 mL (antihistamine).

Directions

Use the measuring device supplied. Children under 2 years: ask a doctor before use. Children 2–5 years (24–48 lb / 11–22 kg): 5 mL every 4–6 hours; maximum 20 mL per day. Children 6 to under 12 years (48–95 lb / 22–44 kg): 10–20 mL every 4–6 hours; maximum 80 mL per day. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Read the complete package label.

Warnings and precautions

May cause marked drowsiness or excitability. Do not use with another product containing diphenhydramine, another antihistamine, a sedative or a tranquillizer. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if the child has glaucoma, chronic lung disease or difficulty urinating. Do not use for a life-threatening anaphylactic reaction; seek emergency medical care. Ingredients

Medicinal ingredient: diphenhydramine hydrochloride, 6.25 mg per 5 mL. Non-medicinal ingredients: citric acid, flavours, glycerin, saccharin sodium, sodium benzoate, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, sodium citrate, sorbitol and water. Saccharin sodium and sorbitol are sweeteners.

Storage

Store at 15–30 °C. Protect from freezing. Keep the bottle and package information with the product.
