Directions

This product generally produces a bowel movement in 6 to 12 hours

Warnings and precautions

Stop use and ask a health care practioner if hypersensitivity occurs. Do not use daily for more than 1 week without consulting your health care practitioner, as overuse or extended use may cause dependence for bowel function. Ask a health care practitioner before use if you have kidney disorder or fecal impaction - you are taking cardiac medications such as cardiac glycosides or antiarrhythmic medications, thiazide diuretics, corticosteroids, licorice root or other medications or health products which may aggravate electrolyte imbalance. When using this product consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Stop use and ask a health care practitioner if you experience abdominal pain, cramps, spasms and/or diarrhea. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use: within 2 hours of other medicines because the desired effect of the other medicine may be reduced - if you are pregnant or breastfeeding- in the presence of abdominal pain, nausea, fever or vomiting - if you have abdominal constrictions of the gastrointestinal tract, potential or existing intestinal blockage, atonic bowel, appendicitis, inflammatory colon disease such as Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis, abdominal pain of unknown origin, undiagnosed rectal bleeding, severe dehydration with depleted water or electrolytes or diarrhea.
